What is ClariFix?

ClariFix has been clinically proven to help those suffering from chronic rhinitis. It is a minimally-invasive innovative technology that utilizes cryotherapy to freeze a small area at the back of the nose. Cryotherapy is the application of freezing temperatures to destroy inflamed, diseased or otherwise abnormal tissue. ClariFix from Arrinex is designed to effectively and efficiently treat chronic rhinitis by freezing the posterior nasal nerves.

How Does ClariFix Work?

Chronic rhinitis is another term for frequent inflammation of the nose. To understand how ClariFix works, first you must understand the cause of chronic rhinitis. The nerves located on the inside of your nose can be overactive and send out too many signals. The constant nerve signals can result in post-nasal drip, a constantly runny nose or swelling of the nose. ClariFix works by using cryotherapy to freeze the small area that is causing overactivity of the sinuses. It is done using a tiny endoscopic device placed in the nasal passage.

What is Chronic Rhinitis?

Although the exact cause of chronic rhinitis is still unknown, it has been established that overactive nerves play a role. When the nerves in your nose send your brain too many signals, it can cause your nose to react as though it is fighting a virus or cold, even when no illness is present. The result is inflammation and increased mucus also known as chronic rhinitis.
