Is This the Craziest Sinus Story Ever?
I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about the six-year-old boy who recently underwent surgery to remove a Lego wheel from his nose. Not so strange, you say? Well, here’s the kicker: the Lego in question had been there for three years.
Details on the origin of this accident are a bit hard to come by, but it seems the boy must have shoved the offending trinket up his nose without anyone’s knowledge all the way back in 2009. Soon strange and debilitating symptoms began to appear, including serious difficulties with breathing, appetite and sleep.
Once doctors removed the toy, now shrouded in fungus, the effects were immediate:
Craig Lasson said since the LEGO was removed, Isaak’s appetite is better, he has more energy and is sleeping soundly.
That’s a wheely happy ending to a tire-ing ordeal.
