Dr. Mani Zadeh Voted to Executive Board of Our House
Proud news today – I was recently voted to the executive board of Our House.
For those of you who don’t know, Our House is a wonderful grief support center located here in Los Angeles. Their stated goal is to provide counseling and support for anyone touched by the loss of a loved one, as well as training to the various professionals who might be called upon to help comfort the grieving.
Our House does essential work throughout the city and beyond, contributing in meaningful ways to the region’s top medical schools – USC’s Keck School of Medicine, and UCLA’s David Geffen Schools of Medicine – by giving rising physicians better tools to understand and help their patients who have been touched by death.
Our House also reaches out to local high schools to help grieving children in low-income and underserved areas find the support and empathy they so desperately need as they navigate personal tragedy.
I am deeply touched and gratified to have been elected to the board of this stellar organization, and I resolve to keep Our House’s mission and support network of volunteers as strong and passionate as they have remained for over fifteen years.
